During the season, which runs from September to June, you can order plants from us at any time, as long as stocks last.
For future seasons, you can also place an order with us in advance. We can then take your requirements into account when purchasing seeds. Please note that we are also dependent on the availability and quality of seeds.
We apply a minimum order quantity of 500 units per species/size/plug/origin.
Yes, that is certainly possible. The available origins depend on the plant species and the seeds we can purchase and sow. We mainly work with Dutch, German, and Danish origins, but we also regularly sow origins from other parts of Europe and America.
Where possible, we can also provide the necessary German seed certification, such as ZüF and FfV certification.
The majority of our orders are delivered annually between March and June. However, an increasing number of customers already process their planting material in September, October, or November. Additionally, it is possible for us to load and deliver frozen planting material from our freezer in December, January, and February to customers who can store it in their own freezer at -2 degrees Celsius, so they can process the plants whenever it suits them.
P204 and P126 planting material is delivered in black high Veenman crates on 100×120 cm block pallets, with a maximum of 45 crates per pallet. Fresh from the tunnel or greenhouse, 375 to 500 plants are packed upright per crate. Plants from the freezer are laid flat in the crates and can therefore be delivered at 500 to 750 per crate.
P40 planting material is delivered in black high Veenman crates or in 100x120x90 cm wooden box pallets. This planting material is packed flat with ±100 units per crate, both fresh and frozen. Approximately 1,500 plants are packed in a box pallet in autumn; in winter, this can increase to 2,000 plants.
The delivery time depends on the time of ordering, the availability of the plants, and the delivery destination. Plants can usually be delivered within one week of ordering, provided that transport is easy to organize. Around public holidays in the Netherlands and abroad, transport can sometimes experience delays.
Our delivery term is ex-nursery, but we are always happy to discuss suitable transport options with you. We have good contacts with various transport companies for deliveries within the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, and Poland.
In some cases, transport is more difficult to organize, for example with deliveries outside the regular season, to hard-to-reach locations, or to countries where we do not have a fixed transport network. In such cases, we request that you organize the transport yourself.
We deliver to all countries within the European Union. Outside the European Union, we only deliver plants through an intermediary appointed by the customer. We do not handle export documentation for deliveries outside the EU ourselves.
No, as long as the outside temperature permits, temperature-controlled transport is not a requirement for our plants. In the event of extreme temperatures or when transport conditions require it, we assess the best and safest transport method per delivery to maintain the quality of the plants.
No, in principle, we do not send our plants via parcel services. We consider the risk of a package getting lost, delayed, or arriving damaged during transport to be too great. To guarantee the quality of our plants as much as possible, we therefore choose delivery via specialized transport companies.
There are, however, parcel services that also handle pallet shipments with an acceptable lead time; we do occasionally work with them.
In principle, you do not need to make an appointment, but to ensure that someone is available to show you around, we strongly recommend making one. Please feel free to contact us by phone or email.
Yes, we already do this for many of our customers. We cannot grow all species on contract, but depending on our capacity, we are always happy to discuss the possibilities. Please contact us to discuss the options further.
